Big Bang - Best newcomer. What'd I tell ya? Boo ya!

So, I just saw on allkpop.com that Big Bang won the best newcomer award in Japan (don't really know which awards show but I don't care). Eeeeeee, so excited. T.O.P looked oh so hot and cool. Although I really wish they'd learn Japanese faster. Taeyang, poor fellow, is left to field all the questions. I loved how Seungri asked the host to ask Taeyang the question. Hehehehehehe. So very cute. And Daesung looked so sweet too. G-Dragon didn't look too bad considering he's decided not to go platinum blonde. I hope for him that it was a phase. Anywho, here is the video! >_<

Belated Updates

Upon perusal of some Asian music website, I found out that DBSK/Tohoshinki/TVXQ was third when it came to singles sales (or something related to the obscene amounts of money these bands make) in Japan. This made me wonder if Arashi occupied the top spot and after a little searching I found out that the boys were definitely secure in their spot as the numero uno in Japanese popdom. Needless to say, I was ridiculously happy. It was almost as if I got a share of that moolah. Anywho, then I started to wonder when Big Bang (my current K-pop obsession) would knock those smug little twats (barring Yun-Ho - we all know how very pretty he is!) called Tohoshinki from the list. Methinks the day isn't very far off when Big Bang really does replace Tohoshinki as the hottest Korean export. They are infinitely more talented (here, I use talented in the relative sense of the word >_< ) and are more involved in the music they make. And yes I know this for a fact! Bite me! Anywho, Arashi's number one spot is no cause of irritation to me because I love them. I love Sho - while this isn't really new, I find myself marvelling at how hot he just keeps getting. Aiba is still my one true love, though - that idiot. *sigh* Speaking of which, I must talk about Aiba's "My Girl." I don't like it in the way I like Coffee Prince/Hana Yori Dango - where I watch out for updates obsessively. Instead, it's a more measured sort of admiration for Aiba. He can act. And no, I don't mean all the stupid shit (which I still adore) he pulls on his show. Koharu-chan, his musume/daughter in the show, sometimes gets on my nerves because she is so damn cute all the time. Oh and that Kanjani8 guy! Why is he even there? Must they always have Johnny's boys in pairs? Perhaps Johnny Kitagawa wants to make sure there is equal opportunity practised at his company. If only he observed other things just as conscientiously. Like underage..... The MV for "My Girl" is cute with Aiba not acting like a total idiot. Infact, he is almost sad. :( I want my happy bakka Aiba back. I know MatsuJun doesn't deserve a line but I can't let it go. I just can't. THAT HAIRSTYLE IS RIDICULOUS! Boy, get a better stylist, please. You look like a total idiot. So much for being "man of the year" or any other award that you have been awarded. They will take it back, I am warning you.

Anyway, I think that's all I have to say for now. R and I are looking forward to Johnny's New Year's show. Oh and I forgot how much I loved Sakura Sake. Love it. I might even move it up on my playlist.
